Sir Mark Hedley is the Chancellor of the Diocese of Liverpool. He is the Judge of the Consistory Court of the Diocese and determines applications for Faculties on behalf of the Bishop. He also acts on behalf of the Bishop on the appointment of Surrogates, i.e., clergy authorised to receive applications for Marriage Licences. Sir Mark was appointed a High Court Judge in 2002.

Mr. Graham Wood, Q.C., is the Deputy Chancellor of the Diocese of Liverpool. He was called to the Bar in 1979 and appointed Silk in 2002.

Howard Dellar is the Registrar of the Diocese of Liverpool and the Bishop's Legal Secretary. He is a Solicitor in practice at 1 The Sanctuary in Westminster, Deputy Registrar to the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Secretary of the Ecclesiastical Law Society, and solicitor to various Church of England Diocesan Boards of Finance and Education.
